The 44' Steel Tug was capsized off Peanut Island in Palm Beach. TowBoatU.S. Ft. Lauderdale mobilized a Salvage Team and immediately deployed absorbent and containment boom to control pollution. A crane and barge was mobilized next to the casualty. Salvage Divers rigged the cables and the vessel was righted and refloated with numerous dewatering pumps.
I really appreciate the job that your team did for us, it was phenomenal! 3 of the placements were within 3 feet of each other and the other one was about 10 feet away. You couldn't have hit that any better. Again, I really appreciate it! You guys did a great job! I will be giving you a call for our next job in June.
